Pete's Pack

 

The National Association for PET Container Resources (NAPCOR) developed an educational kit called PETE's Pack that can be used as an easy, stand-alone display or as a hands-on, interactive presentation.  The content is stored in a mini-bin container made from 100% recycled PET plastic.  Contents include:

• A binder of information about PET (#1 plastic screw-top bottles)

• Samples of PET bottles (including several preforms - empty cylinders that will be made into new bottles)

• New PET plastic pellets

• Recycled PET plastic pellets

• Recycled PET fiber

• A PET flake

• A float-sink display

• A t-shirt and carpet sample made of recycled PET fiber

Pete’s Packs are FREE to all our member schools (as long as supplies last) and yours to keep.  All you need to do is:

1. Contact the club either by phone: (603) 736-4401 or by email: theclub@nrra.net.
2. Tell us how many you would like.

Collection Can Cage

 

THE CLUB is offering an opportunity for school recycling clubs to not only preserve the environment by collecting cans, but also to receive revenue on a per pound basis for the cans they collect.  The goal of the program is to increase school recycling funds while increasing aluminum can recycling.  As part of the program, THE CLUB will provide participating schools with a large aluminum collection cage for FREE that can be parked outdoors for easy access.  Schools can reserve the collection cage for six months. 

 

All you need to do is:

1. Contact the CLUB either by phone:(603) 736-4401 or by email: theclub@nrra.net.

2. Fill out a contract agreement for six months.

3. Come pick it up on the agreed date (you will need a car with a hitch of at least 2 3/4 inches).

 

 

Recycle Mobile

 

The RecycleMobile was developed to help make recycling at special events low-cost, highly visible and efficient. It is a simple to use, eye-catching recycling unit consisting of a fiberglass box with six collection holes (3 per side) that is attached to a 4' by 6' trailer and houses six - 32 gallon barrels.

The School CLUB (through the NRRA co-op) has three RecycleMobiles available for school groups to use at special events to provide recycling.  Please contact the CLUB by phone at (603) 736-4401 or by email at: theclub@nrra.net for more information and scheduling details.
