About the players......

The RecyclaBulls produced by the award-winning Winnipesauke Playhouse is working together with the NH Department of Environmental Services and the CLUB to bring a school play about recycling to elementary schools in 2008.  Funding has been provided by the Walker Fund of NH Charitable Foundation and Stonyfield Farm.

BoxesWelcome to Hannibull, Moooossourri, a town populated entirely by cows!  In The RecyclaBulls, fun-filled musical adventures designed to entertain pre-school and elementary school ages by Bryan Halperin and David Polansky, four young calves learn to work together to take care of the environment and teach the rest of the towns cattle how they can help moo.  Ooops!  How they can help “too”!  The show introduces basic concepts of environmental education and offer some simple suggestions that even the youngest calf can try at home to help the environment.  The RecyclaBulls were originally produced by the award-winning Winnipesaukee Playhouse as their summer 2006 children’s series.

About the play............

Commenda Bull’s Club:

hoovesinOh no!  Summer vacation is winding down and Commenda Bull and her friends have run out of fun things to do.  As the one who always has the best ideas, Commenda Bull is under a lot of pressure to come up with one last great idea.  She gathers her friends Believa Bull, Breako Bull, and Irasci Bull and suggests they start a club.  But what kind of club should they be?  While they think about it they decide to clean up an old shed to use as their clubhouse and bring all the junk to the town dump where they meet Disposo Bull, the town’s sanitation engineer.  He tells them all about reducing, reusing, and recycling and they realize they can help their town learn about it too which is great for the environment.  They make recycling bins and put them all around town and promise to empty them at the end of the week.  As school is about to start they realize they forgot to think of a club and now have run out of time, but Commenda Bull has another idea… they are a recycling club and she names them “The RecyclaBulls”!
