About the players......

The RecyclaBulls produced by the award-winning Winnipesauke Playhouse is working together with the NH Department of Environmental Services and the CLUB to bring a school play about recycling to elementary schools in October 2010.  Funding has been provided by the Walker Fund of NH Charitable Foundation and Stonyfield Farm.

BoxesWelcome to Hannibull, Moooossourri, a town populated entirely by cows!  In The RecyclaBulls, fun-filled musical adventures designed to entertain pre-school and elementary school ages by Bryan Halperin and David Polansky, four young calves learn to work together to take care of the environment and teach the rest of the towns cattle how they can help moo.  Ooops!  How they can help “too”!  The show introduces basic concepts of environmental education and offer some simple suggestions that even the youngest calf can try at home to help the environment.  The RecyclaBulls were originally produced by the award-winning Winnipesaukee Playhouse as their summer 2006 children’s series.

About the play............

Breako Bull's Burp:

hoovesin Baron Von Holstein is at it again! His latest product to hit the
market- Grass-o-lean, is an energy drink designed to turn the klutziest calf into a lean, mean, mooing machine! Breako Bull, being a klutzy calf, becomes spokesbull for the product and gets his family and friends to try it. But Grass-o-lean is not without consequences. It causes excessive gas which means one thing- BURPING! With guidance from Disposo Bull, The RecyclaBulls learn that cattle burp enough already due
to their digestive systems and all the extra burping caused by
Grass-o-lean only speeds up global warming! Armed with this
information, the calves try to convince others that all these gassy
emissions are bad for the environment and contribute to global warming and that the cattle should reduce their use. Unfortunately, too many are hooked and don't want to listen. Dejected, the calves think they can't make a difference, but Breako Bull realizes that the best place to start is in your own barnyard and that if you can convince one bull to help the environment then that's a start. Breako gets his Dad, Flammo Bull, the Fire Chief, to agree to reduce his use and thus learns one klutzy bull can make a difference. With parallels and references to human consumption of gasoline throughout, Breako Bull's Burp will teach students that the best thing they can do to combat global warming is to start in their own homes.
